Eason Tsang Ka Wai and Yeung Tong Lung will participate in a group show “One • Square • Water • Soil” presented by Hong Kong Arts Development Council at Landmark South, Hong Kong.
“One • Square • Water • Soil draws inspiration from the Chinese proverb “一方水土養一方人” (The land’s water and soil nurture its people) to delve into the intricate connections between environment, culture, and human character. From the natural landscape to the social fabric of life, “water and soil” are not only the foundation of thought and sentiment but also a vital source of creativity for artists …. Curated by acclaimed local photographer Almond Chu, the exhibition showcases works by seven Hong Kong-based artists across diverse mediums, including photography, sculpture, ceramics, and kinetic art.
