Aiko Tezuka utilises weaving and unravelling to deconstruct and reconstruct textile surfaces. Working with historical, self-designed, and found fabrics, she reconfigures cultural artefacts into intricate installations. Tezuka’s practice centres on revealing what lies beneath the surface of material culture, treating threads as physical embodiments of cultural hybridisation and artisticinterventions.
