Stephanie Sin

b. 1984, Hong Kong

Stephanie Sin graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT) in Australia with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) in 2008. She went on to obtain her Master of Visual Arts (Studio Arts & Extended Media) from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2013. In 2009, she founded art group Rental United that serves as a cluster for collaborative experimentations focusing on happenings and performances. Her work was exhibited in various group exhibitions including “Form Simultaneity” (100ft. PARK, Hong Kong, 2016); “Silent Waves – Exploring the quiet zone” (Soundpocket Hong Kong, 2015); “TILT” (Royal Academy of Arts, UK, 2014); “New Trend 2008” (Artist Commune, Hong Kong, 2008) In 2010, she was awarded Impression · Eileen Chang · Inaugural Painting Jury Award.

Sin currently lives and works in Hong Kong.
