Kong uses the medium of fundamental drawing to develop a diverse practice coincidentally, including video, animation and installation. He often captures the surface of ordinary objects with ink on paper. His practice looks into the uncertainty of things and perception. Mimicking different material textures with nuanced brushstrokes, he destabilizes the familiarity of daily objects and thus our viewing practices.
