Born in 1987, in Chang Chun, Jilin province, China, Ren has been broadly exhibited in more than 22 countries around the world, including most recently solo exhibitions at the Foam Fotografiemuseum (Amsterdam) and the Fotografiska (Stockholm).
As a long time collaborator, Blindspot Gallery has had the honour to work on two solo exhibitions with him: “My Mum” (2014), and “Equal Relationships” (2013).
He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
