Isaac Chong Wai’s work Failling Reversely (2021-2024) is on view at a group exhibition “We Connect, We Occupy” at Jeonnam Museum of Art, South Korea.
“The nine artists participating in this exhibition, each in their own way, reveal erased voices , bring back forgotten stories , and build new utterances on top of silence . They unfold scenes of ‘artistic occupation ’ through various interventions such as recreating sites of communal practice , calling up places of collective memory, immersing themselves in the extreme reality of war, and visiting places where incidents occurred to pursue clues and traces.” – Jeonnam Museum of Art
