“Play and Loop” Closing Talk with Artist Wang Tuo

On the last day of the screening, we will celebrate the closing of the screening programme with an artist talk with Wang Tuo, led by curator Leo Li Chen, to discuss Wang’s artistic practice which employs diverse mediums and cultural references. The talk will be conducted in Mandarin with English translation.
“Play and Loop” is a 7-week screening programme dated from 7 July to 25 August at Blindspot Gallery, featuring iconic and recent video works by 8 artists from China, mostly born in 1980s, who have been active in the art scene nationally and internationally. Each week, video works by one to two artists will be featured and played continuously on loop during the opening hours of the gallery.
