林立施的個展「192 Wing Lok Street」將於維也納Vienna Secession展出。
「Lap-See Lam’s work renders the architecture of diaspora as a site of spectral recursion, spaces and figures that flicker between presence and erasure, simulation and memory. Working with 3D scanning, animation, sculpture, and installation, she explores how cultural identity is mediated through reproduction, myth, and spatial displacement. Her recurring motif of the Chinese restaurant, often reconstructed digitally from scans of now defunct interiors, becomes less a literal location than a haunted vessel, one that carries sedimented histories of migration, labour, and longing. Lap-See Lam reveals how these spaces become persistant and unstable, how they transform into glitching archives, and provisional containers for affect, inheritance, and representation.」——Vienna Secession
