Blindspot is pleased to announce its participation in the MOMENT Sector of MOORDN Art Fair 2024 (Booth B01) in Guangzhou, titled “Into the Currents” curated by Chris Wan, presenting Angela Su‘s videowork Caspiar (2017).

“From Guangzhou to Hong Kong, the Pearl River flows through the estuary, traverses Victoria Harbour, and ultimately merges into the vast ocean, symbolizing cycles of continuity and transformation. This interwoven network of waterways connects people to place, following the rhythms of flow and convergence. Curated by independent curator Chris Wan Feng, ‘Into the Currents’ brings together seven representative Hong Kong galleries, showcasing video works by their closely affiliated artists. Using water as a conceptual lens, the project explores the interplay of geopolitical fluidity and human migration. ‘Into the Currents’ invites audiences to experience Hong Kong’s unique perspectives, horizons, and origins, while presenting a multi-layered vibrancy of Hong Kong’s contemporary art scene.” – MOORDN Art Fair 2024
