About Since we last met
Through her sculptural practice, Cheuk constructs allegories of relationality through the interiority of ready-mades objects. In Since we last met (2015), the movement of the toothbrushes creates a lingering moment of intimacy and struggle, when they separate; they have their own space again until they meet again.

About Waiting For Another Round
Waiting for Another Round (2015) is about the wheel, a symbol of the ruthless encroachment of urbanization. Cheuk captured these moving images in a period of 20 days after the clearance of the occupied sites and documented the erasure of the traces of the Occupy movement by the wheels.
